Dear users,
this privacy policy applies to you, the user of our services, which are also provided by our company through our online websites or mobile applications. We are one of the companies that provide multiple services, some of which are linked to each other. We operate an online website for the purpose of advertising real estate, travel agency offers, and also offers for the purpose of job placement. We act as an intermediary between the supply side and the demand side. Through the creation of technological facilities and means of communication, we convey to you, the user, the possibility of offering for sale the individual services, which is the focus of the particular portal.
We always consider your privacy when providing our services and products and when innovating them. We are aware of our commitment to our users. We are fully aware of our obligations to you arising from the requirements of the laws governing your privacy and the protection of your personal data. We treat the protection of your personal information with respect and responsibility. Therefore, we work with experts from various fields, e.g. legal, security, IT, to make sure that no decision is made without respecting your privacy.
Within our services, you can manage your privacy in different ways. At the same time, you always have the opportunity to exercise your rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (the “Regulation”) and Act No. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide information on who, why, how your personal data is processed, to whom your personal data is provided, what your rights under the Regulation and the Act are, and how you can exercise them.
Who are we?
Your personal data are processed and protected by WIWA group s.r.o., with registered office at Hlavná 31, 943 01 Štúrovo, ID No.: 50 752 863, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court of Nitra, Section: Sro, Insert No. 42948/N. From the point of view of the Act and the Regulation, we have the status of a controller or an intermediary.
What types of information do we collect about you?
In order to provide you with our services and to continuously improve our services, we collect information about you. The information we collect about you and how we use it depends on the particular service you use and how you manage your privacy controls with us. In principle, the information we process about you can be broken down as follows:
Information that you give us in direct connection with the specific service you provide
- information that is necessary for mediation of sales in real estate activities, or for providing documents in the settlement of loans, in the mediation of domestic and foreign tours as a travel agency and also in the mediation of employment – for example, name, surname, residence, photograph, date of birth, birth number
- the information you provide when using the advertising service – for example, photos or sending your CV
- information you give us even as a non-logged-in user (for example, in response to an offer or to propose a price for an offer)
- information related to your enquiries dealt with by our customer support – e.g. complaints, claims, suggestions, notifications
Information we receive from other sources, namely:
- information about you from other users – we may collect information about you from other users, for example, when they contact us about you, such as when they alert us to certain of your actions or recommend you as a possible user of our services
Information collected in connection with the use of our services, namely:
- information about your interaction with us, such as how the services were used, how you logged in, from where you visited each site and how long you used it, response times, download errors, how you accessed and exited the services, etc.
- technical data of the devices and settings used, such as IP address, browser settings, operating system, platform, – information necessary for you to use certain functionalities of our services.
Why do we process your personal data?
In order for us to process your personal data lawfully, it is necessary that we have a predetermined purpose for processing it. The following are the purposes for which your personal data is collected and further processed.
To administer and provide our services
In most cases, the legal basis on which we process your personal data is the performance of a contract for the provision of a service or a contract for the provision of a service.
To fulfil legal obligations
Specific legislation may impose various obligations on us as a service provider for the purpose of which the processing of your personal data is necessary. For example, in accordance with the Civil Code and consumer protection regulations, we also process your personal data for the purpose of handling any complaints. Another example where the purpose of processing personal data is to fulfil legal obligations is the Accountancy Act, under which we are obliged to retain certain data for paid services for the period of time set out in this Act.
To evaluate, maintain and improve our services and develop new services
We use the information you give us to make sure our services work as you expect them to, for example monitoring outages or fixing problems you report to us. We also use your information to try to innovate our services – for example, when we use your input to identify a need for service improvements, or when we see a demand for a new service, or to assess the need for greater user protection, and so on. The information we collect on existing services helps us to develop new services.
To provide personalised services, including content and ads
Based on the information we receive from you, we are able to ensure that the service we provide is tailored to your needs and preferences.
We provide you with personalised content, for example by showing you relevant recommendations of relevant and interesting offers that we think may appeal and interest you and other similar measures to make it easier for you to use our Services and to improve your user experience when using our Services.
The purpose of processing your personal data for this purpose is also to facilitate the use of our company’s services, e.g. to use our mediation services such as real estate or employment mediation.
The information we collect from your various devices (operating system version, application version, and device hardware information) helps us provide a consistent service across all of your devices.
To enforce the security of our services, prevent misuse of our services and investigate violations of our terms
We are committed to keeping our services safe. In order to enforce the security of our services, we also process your personal data to prevent spam, phishing, harassment, misuse of your user accounts or other prohibited activities.
As part of this processing purpose, we implement our commitment to you to ensure that our IT environment is protected against attacks and other interference so that the use of our services is secure. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data under the Act and the Regulation? The lawfulness of our processing of your personal data is justified by the following legal bases:
We predominantly process your personal data because the processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract that you have entered into with us by accepting our terms of use.
Other legal bases include compliance with our legal obligations, your and our legitimate interests and your consent to the processing of personal data. If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you are entitled to withdraw this consent at any time.
Who do we provide or disclose your personal data to?
In terms of the Act, we have the status of controller, which means that it is our company that defines the purpose of processing.
In connection with our activities, your personal data may be transferred or disclosed to other entities, either as an independent controller or as an agent.
As part of our services, we enable our clients (e.g. real estate agents, employment agents or travel agents) to contact us via our portal, we also act as an intermediary within the meaning of the Act. Through the contact form placed next to a specific advertisement, you can contact us directly to contact us on a specific advertisement and thus the data entered in the contact form is processed by us as controllers and intermediaries.
As a data controller, we ensure that everyone to whom your personal data is transferred maintains a high standard of data protection. We will not, under any circumstances, provide your personal data to a subject where this standard is not ensured.

Suppliers of programming services, real estate agencies, attorney, banks.
Persons to whom we are required to disclose your data by law, e.g. the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority, courts, law enforcement authorities.
How long will your personal data be processed?
We process your personal data in accordance with legal requirements, which means that we do not keep personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose of the processing.
If we process your personal data on a legal basis – the performance of a contract, we process your personal data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship between us. If the contract is terminated, we proceed to the destruction of your personal data, unless it is not possible to process your personal data on another legal basis.

If we process your personal data on a legal basis – to comply with legal obligations, we process your personal data for the period of time specified by law. If we process your personal data on a legal basis – our legitimate interest or the legitimate interest of third parties, we process your personal data for the duration of the legitimate interest. If we process your personal data on a legal basis – your consent, we process your personal data for the period for which you have given us consent to process your personal data.
What rights do you have in relation to our processing of your personal data?
Both the law and the Regulation provide you with a number of rights that allow you to keep the protection of your personal data under your own control. Our company respects your rights. In this section you will therefore find out what they are.
Right of access to personal data
This right means that you are entitled to request confirmation from us as to whether personal data relating to you is being processed about you. Therefore, if we are processing such personal data about you, you have the right to access and be informed about your personal data:
- why we process your personal data (purpose of processing personal data)
- what data we process about you (category of personal data)
- to whom your personal data may or will be disclosed (identification of the recipients or the recipients’ group)
- how long we will keep your personal data (retention period)
- that you have the right to request from us the rectification of your personal data, their deletion as well as the restriction of their processing or that you have the possibility to object to the processing of your personal data
- that you have the right to bring a personal data protection proceeding under the Act or the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority under the Regulation, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic
- where your personal data comes from (source information), unless you have provided us with personal data directly
Act; in particular, the procedure used, as well as the meaning and expected consequences of such processing of personal data for you
– adequate safeguards regarding the transfer, if we transfer your personal data to a third country or an international organisation
This right of access also means that you can obtain the personal data we process about you.
We will provide you with a copy of the personal data we process about you. However, if you make repeated requests for your personal data, we may charge you a reasonable administrative fee in connection with your request for a copy of your personal data.
Right to rectification of personal data
As part of our terms of service, we inform you to provide us with the correct data. However, if we nevertheless happen to process incorrect data about you, the right to rectification of personal data means that you are entitled to request that we rectify the incorrect personal data relating to you. You also have the right, having regard to the purpose of the processing of personal data, to have incomplete personal data about you completed.
Right to erasure of personal data (right to be forgotten)
You have the right to have us delete personal data relating to you where at least one of the following grounds is met:
- your personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we collected or otherwise processed it
- you have withdrawn your consent to the processing of your personal data on the basis of which we process your personal data and there is no other legal basis for further processing
- you object to the processing of personal data which is carried out on the legal basis of public interest or legitimate interest and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing
- your personal data have been unlawfully processed
- your personal data must be erased because it is necessary to comply with an obligation under Slovak or European Union law
- your personal data was collected in connection with the offer of information society services pursuant to Section 15(1) of the Act
However, your right to erasure of your personal data may not be granted in a particular case, taking into account the specific circumstances, if the processing of your personal data is necessary for:
- to exercise our right to freedom of expression or the right to information
- to fulfil a legal obligation
- to assert our legal claim
- for archiving, historical research or statistical purposes, unless it is likely that the right to erasure would prevent or seriously impede us from achieving the purposes of such processing
Right to restriction of processing of personal data
You have the right to have us restrict the processing of personal data relating to you where at least one of the following grounds is met:
- during the period allowing us to verify the accuracy of your personal data, you challenge the accuracy of your personal data
- the processing of personal data is unlawful, you object to the erasure of personal data and request restriction of the processing of personal data instead of erasure
- we no longer need your personal data for any of the processing purposes, or you need it to establish, exercise or pursue your legal claims
- you object to the processing of your personal data until it is verified that our legitimate interests outweigh your legitimate interests
Right to portability of personal data
If our right to process your personal data is based on your consent or the performance of obligations under a contract we have entered into with you, you have the right to request the transfer of the data relating to you that you have provided to us to another data controller.
Right to withdraw consent
If we process your personal data on the legal basis of the data subject’s consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, even before the expiry of the period for which the consent was given. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
Right to ineffectiveness of automated individual decision-making, including profiling
You have the right to request that automated individual decision-making, including profiling, be ineffective against you.
RIGHT TO INSTALL
If you have grounds relating to your particular situation, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where the legal basis for such processing is our legitimate interest.
However, if our legitimate interest in processing outweighs your personal interest, we may continue to process your data despite your objection to processing. We are also entitled to continue to process your data if this is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of our legal claims.
Direct marketing (including analyses carried out for direct marketing purposes):
You have the opportunity to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. The objection also applies to the analysis of personal data (“profiling”) carried out in connection with direct marketing. If you object to direct marketing, we will stop processing your personal data for this purpose as well as for the purpose of all types of direct marketing actions.
Of course, you can easily opt-out of receiving messages and personal offers on specific channels. For example, you may only receive offers from us via email, but not via SMS.
You can change your settings at any time on the site or in the app. You can also change your settings via email, SMS or a combination of the two. If you need help with your settings, you can contact our customer service at any time.
If you do not have full legal capacity as a data subject, your rights under the Regulation and the Act may be exercised by your legal representative. The rights of a data subject who is not alive may be exercised by a close person within the meaning of the Regulation and the Act.
Where your requests as a data subject are manifestly unfounded or unreasonable, in particular because of their repetitive nature, we may charge a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or refuse to act on the request.
